The Department of ME, JIET celebrated Engineer's Day

The Department of Mechanical Engineering celebrated 54th Engineers' Day on the occasion of the birthday of Sh. M. Visvesvaraya on September 15, 2021, at the department where a debate and an essay competition was held among the students of II, III and IV year. A total of 60 students participated in the competition. The results are as follows:

Debate Competition

Winner: Siddharth Joshi

Runner-up: Nakshatra Mehta

2nd Runner-up: Yash Choudhary

Essay Writing Competition

Winner: Lalit Mewara

Runnerup: Prateek Suthar

The students actively participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. The competition and the event were coordinated by Mr Vikas Dave. The faculty members present during the event were Mr Abhishek Dixit and Mr Pawan Kumar Bissa. Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Mehra (Head-Mentor, ME, JIET) congratulated the winners and wished all a happy Engineers' day.
