CE, JIET celebrated engineers day with UltraTech Cement

The Department of civil engineering, in collaboration with UltraTech Cement, celebrated engineers day to commemorate the 160th birth anniversary of the Greatest Indian Engineer Bharta Ratna M Visvesvaraya. Head of Department, Prof. Dr Chetan Sharma, said that the engineering works of M Visvesaerya have always inspired the young and buddy engineers to be creative in their approach. He stressed upon bringing innovation in their system and finding innovative solutions to problems related to society. Students with outstanding performance in various activities at the national level had felicitated with certificates and Memento. Winners of the final year project youtube competition had felicitated with a certificate and cash prize. Khushal Dave of last year was complemented by Ultra Tech Cement with a trophy and amazon vouchers worth rupees 10,000 for being runner-up in the North Zone of India in Gen-Next Quiz 20-21, organized by Ultra Tech Cement.
