Students of final year #Mechanical #Engineering (ME) fabricated their final year project titled "Aquatic Trash Skimmer". The project was guided by Mr. Naveen Gupta, (Asst. Prof., ME) Mr. Mohd. Jawed Iqbal (Asst. Prof., ME), Mr. Amit Katiyar (Astt. Prof., ME) and Mr. Mohd. Saif (Sr. Lab Technician, ME) The team members involved in the project were Yashdeep Joshi, Yashasvi Soni, Vishal Vaishnav, Virat Mehta, Tushar Sharma and Yash Sharma This project is inspired from #swachhbharat #Mission. Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Mehra (Professor and Head, ME) told that the objective of the project is to clean the ancient ponds of the city like Ranisar, Padamsar etc. It's a very tough task to clean the surface only with traditional ways and it requires time and manpower both, but this machine reduces it to just 1 day and needs only 1 person. It clears ponds' surface from various trash (Plastic waste, garlands etc.).
