Online Short Term Training Program on Machine Learning and its applications to Big Data .

The Department of Electrical Engineering, JIET in association with All India Council for Technical Education is organizing the second phase of the online six-day Short Term Training Program on "MachineLearning and its applications to BigData " from 19-24 October 2020. This program is in continuation with the previous Short Term Training Program (Phase-I) organized by the department from 14-19 September 2020. During the inaugural ceremony of STTP (Phase-II) on 19.10.2020 Col B Venkat, Director, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, Prof. (Dr.) Avdhesh Sharma Ex-Professor, MBM Engg. college, Er. Navneet Agarwal, Director General JGI and Prof.(Dr.) Sandip Mehta, Dean, Engineering JIET were present.

The Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony Col B Venkat praised the efforts of JIET and AICTE in organizing a STTP on a trending topic and all delegates emphasized the importance of machine learning in detail. On the first day, two technical sessions were conducted. The first technical session was taken by Prof (Dr) Akhil Ranjan Garg, Professor, MBM Engg. College, Jodhpur on the topic “Artificial Neural Network for Pattern Classification “and the second session was taken by Prof (Dr) K.R.Choudhary, Ex-Professor, MBM Engineering College, JNVU, Jodhpur on the topic “Data Mining and its Applications in Machine Learning”.
