“GARCON”- Final year project of ME students

The students of the final year Mechanical Engineering Department, JIET have completed their project, entitled ‘Design and Fabrication of Multi-purpose Semi-Automatic Robot (GARCON) under the guidance of Mr. Vikas Dave (Project Guide) and in the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Mehra (Head-Mentor, ME). The team of students includes Virendra Suthar, Tanveer Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Sourabh Maheshwari, Vishal Mathur, Sarfraj Abbasi and Vikram Panwar. The main objectives of making this project are to develop a machine with the combination of mechanical and electrical concepts as per the future demand, develop a machine as per the present market scenario, minimize the contact between individuals to meet the norms of govt. in COVID-19 pandemic for safe serving and for welcoming in the hotels, restaurants, hospitals etc. This project fits the need of the present era and requirements in the present scenario.
