Program Eligibility Criteria and Application Process

  • A bachelor ’s degree (BE/ B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology /Electronics and Communication Engineering or relevant branch (As mentioned in AICTE APH 2020-21) or MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science / IT /Cyber Security with an average of 60% or higher marks
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts and mathematics is desirable.

Application Process

Centralised Admission for M.Tech. (CAM) is an integrated admission procedure for admission to First Year of M.Tech. degree programme offered by AICTE approved institutions of Rajasthan, affiliated with state technical university.

  • Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota is the organizing authority and the process is also popularly known as RTU CAM.
  • The entire counselling and seat allotment process for RTU CAM is held online.
  • In RTU CAM, seat allocation in M.Tech. program is based on GATE score/Graduation marks.

An applicant who has B.Tech / B.E. degree in the appropriate discipline with the required minimum marks need not have appeared for GATE. However, an applicant who is seeking admission to M.Tech programme and possesses an M.Sc / MCA degree must apply with a valid GATE Score. RTU CAM is likely to comprise 5 rounds of counselling and seat allocation. Seats are allocated to registered applicants as per choices and ranking in the merit list. Selected applicants need to confirm admission by submitting requisite documents in original and depositing prescribed fee. Scholarship: All the applicants who are having valid GATE score are eligible to get MHRD scholarship as per norms.

Fees Structure

The institute charges fee as per the State Level Fee Determination Committee, Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. The interim course fee (in INR) for the students enrolling in session 2020-21 for M.Tech. in Data Science is as follows :

The caution money, university development charges, registration fee need to pay at the time of admission. The course fee may be paid in four equal installments. The I installment of course fee i.e. Rs. 59100/- is to be paid at the time of admission and remaining installments may be paid after every 6 months.
