The Department of Electrical_Engineering, JIET, organized the second phase of the AICTE-ISTE Sponsored 6-Days Online Faculty Induction program on "Advances in Renewable Energy Technologies: Opportunities and Challenges " from 06th April - 12th April 2021. During the inaugural FIP ceremony (Phase-II), Dr. Daria Singh, Former Chairman, Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan, Dr. Dharmendra Yadav, Assistant Professor–CSE, BTU, Bikaner, Prof. (Dr.) Sandip Mehta, Director, JIET, and Prof (Dr) KusumLata Agarwal, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, JIET, were present. The Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony, Dr. Daria Singh, Former Chairman, Board of Technical Education, praised JIET and AICTE-ISTE for organizing a FIP on a trending topic. The Guest of Honour, Dr. Dharmendra Yadav, Assistant Professor–CSE, BTU, Bikaner, talked about the solution to challenges faced in Renewable Energy Technologies and identified opportunities for a better future power system with Renewable Energy Technologies. On the first day, two technical sessions were conducted. Dr. Hitesh Dutt Mathur, Associate Professor-EEE, BITS, Pilani, took the first technical session, and Er. Gajendra Singh Chawda, Research Scholar-EE, IIT, Jodhpur, took the second session. The event was hosted by Mr. Ankit Tandon, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering - JIET, Jodhpur, and coordinated by Ms. Ankita Purohit, Assistant Professor, Electrical Engineering - JIET, Jodhpur.
