The Civil Engineering Department organized a one-way webinar on "SPECIAL CONCRETE" in association with J K Cement on 16 OCTOBER, 2020. The webinar was organized in Industry Institute Interaction for the students and faculties of the field of Civil Engineering. In this webinar, the characteristics of Special Concrete means the concrete used or made for special cases, such as Some special properties — increased compressive and tensile strength, water proofing, and improved chemical resistance are achieved with polymers, either as admixtures or surface treatment of hardened concrete. Which are very beneficial for the students when they go to the field were explained by the zonal head of J K Cement Mr. Pawan Y Sethi.
