Online expert lecture by Head of Quality Control & Testing, Shapoorji Pallonji was organized

On 1st June 2020 an online expert lecture by Head of Quality Control & Testing, Shapoorji Pallonji was organized for the students of III Year Civil Engineering Department. With planning and coordination of Prof. Kamlesh Parihar and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Arvind Dewangan (HOD), this expert lecture was directed towards having an interactive session with the students and informing them about the gap between academic knowledge at graduation level and the advancement of in-field practices. The guest speaker also enlightened them about the importance of planning and management of resources at the site and SOPS that are followed in quality assurance of a project. Students attended the lecture with interest and also enquired about the post corona scenario of the industry and job opportunities in the construction field. Their queries were simplified and they were motivated for their future course in the field. The lecture was attended by Prof. Kamlesh Parihar, Prof. Rahul Bhati, Prof. Abhishek Chandra and 40 students of III year Civil Engineering, all the attendees were greatly benefitted by this expert interaction.
