Mechanical Engineering Students at JIET Jodhpur developed a LASER CNC Machine The final year students of Mechanical Engineering at Jodhpur Institute of Engineering and Technology (Mogra, Jodhpur) have not only made JIET proud but also the entire Suryanagari by developing a LASER CNC machine. Team of final year students; Piyush Goyal, Rishi Katta, Rahul Soni, Ritam Mathur and Ritesh Mundra completed their final year project 'Design and Fabrication of Laser CNC Machine' under the supervision of their mentors Mr. Abhishek Dixit (Dy. Head (Academics, ME) ) and Mr. Amit Katiyar (Astt. Prof., ME). Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Mehra stated that this project is special because one do not have to do any kind of coding in it, making this machine very easy to handle. Today, Laser CNC machine is the most useful machine in the industry. With it's help engraving and cutting of complex shapes can be done on any material such as wood, plastic, metal, aluminum, etc. with less time and less effort in industries.
