EE, JIET organized III phase of AICTE-ISTE sponsored FIP

The Department of EE, JIET is organizing III phase of AICTE- ISTE Sponsored 6-Days Online FIP on "Advances in Renewable Energy Technologies: Opportunities and Challenges" from Aug 25-31, 2021. During the inaugural ceremony, Col. B. Venkat, Director, Faculty Development Cell, AICTE, New Delhi, Prof. Vijay D. Vadiya, Executive Secretary, ISTE, New Delhi, Prof.(Dr.) Sandip Mehta, Director, JIET, Prof (Dr.) Kusumlata Agarwal and Mr Vinit Mehta from the Department of EE, JIET, were present. The Chief Guest, Col. B.Venkat, emphasized the importance of Renewable Energy Technologies in the current scenario. The Guest of Honour, Prof. Vijay D. Vadiya, shared that the ISTE wants to train faculty in emerging research areas like Renewable Energy Technologies and praised the efforts of JIET and AICTE- ISTE in organizing a FIP on a trending topic. On the first day, the technical session by Dr Nishant Kumar, Assistant Professor-EE, IIT, Jodhpur, on the case "Solar-Powered Electric Vehicle Charging Schemes". The second session had taken by Dr Jayashri Vajpai, Professor, MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur, on "Recent Advances in Solar Photovoltaic Systems ". The event has hosted by Mr Vinit Mehta and Mr Ankit Tandon.
