Cost-Effective Multi-functional Bed cum Wheelchair for Disabled patients

Final year Mechanical Engineering students fabricated a project titled - “COST-EFFECTIVE MULTIFUNCTIONAL BED CUM WHEELCHAIR FOR DISABLED PATIENTS” under the guidance and supervision of Mr. Mohd. Jawed Iqbal (Head-Admin, JIET-ME) and Prof. (Dr.) Deepak Mehra (Head-Mentor, JIET-ME). The student members involved were Mridul Chhangani, Pradhuman Mathur, Rishikant Solanki, Shubham Mathur, Tanmay Vyas, Vaibhav Sharma and Yash Katariya. It has been observed that managing bedridden patients is an important issue as many people are involved in it, and patients need round the clock assistance. Any reduction in the number of people involved and the amount of effort required will benefit a large section of society. An attempt has been made to reduce the amount of assistance needed in managing patients by designing a new bed by the student.
