An expert lecture was organized by Department of CE, JIET

Department of Civil Engineering conducted an online expert lecture on "SUSTAINABLE REUSE OF DISCARDED WASTE RUBBER TIRES IN SOIL STABILIZATION" on Sept 13, 2021. The course has delivered by Prof. Jitendra S Yadav, Assistant Professor, NIT Hamirpur. Prof. J S Yadav stressed the environmental concerns of waste rubber tyres; and how they can be utilized in soil stabilization in an eco-friendly way. He reiterated that sustainable development is the need of the hour, and these practices must be followed in every sphere of life. The lecture was very informative and insightful.
