Commis chef: A commis chef is more junior than a sous chef and is often in charge of one particular station. They generally work under a chef de partie or the station chef.

Subjects at the school level – No specific subjects are required; however, candidates who have studied English will have an advantage. English is mandatory for most of the entrance tests conducted in India.

Eligibility Criteria –10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

Age Limit: For a formal education and to pursue a diploma or degree course in India, thier is an upper age limit set by NCHMCT. For General and OBC(Upper Age Limit is 25 years), SC and ST (Upper Age Limit is 28 years.
