What is the future of machine learning?

Machine Learning (ML) is an AI (artificial intelligence) application that allows systems to learn and improve without being programmed or supervised.

Let us take an example - imagine that you are a newly born kid. You see a man and a woman when you see your parents for the first time after you are born. But you don't know how to differentiate between the two personalities. While you are 1–2 years old, you have seen many more men and women, and now you can identify many different family members, and you know which of them are male and who is female. What changed? You were shown many other men & women, maybe by your parents, at different times. And slowly, you identified how they are separate and how to distinguish them based on looks and voice.

When you see a man or listen to a female vocalist, you can tell which is which, based on your learning from the "data" that was made available to you. And then, slowly, you learn to identify facial expressions. How? You have seen many laughing faces, and someone told you that this act is called "laughing," the same with other emotions. Finally, you can see an expression and tell which one it is, based on your learning, even if one person's smile wouldn't exactly be the same as another person's.

Making machines able to learn in the same way from data is machine learning. This was basically supervised learning. A similar analogy for unsupervised learning can be a discussion of some other time.

The future of machines is as vast as the limits of the human mind. You can always keep learning and teaching computers how to learn. And at the same time, wondering how some of the most complex machine learning algorithms have been running in the back of our minds so effortlessly all the time since we were toddlers. And we never really noticed how we actually learned stuff.

The global machine learning market size accounted for USD 6.9 billion in 2018 and is anticipated to value USD 96.7 billion by 2025.

What is the Growth Rate of the Machine Learning Market

The global machine learning market size is expected to register a massive CAGR of 43.8% over the forecasted years, 2019 to 2025.

The future of machine learning is fascinating. At present, almost every common domain is powered by machine learning applications. To name a few, healthcare, search engine, digital marketing, security, education, automobiles, and space technology are the primary beneficiaries. Technically it's almost impossible to work on a domain without this new technology to achieve targeted results efficiently. Machine Learning could be contested merit to an enterprise or an organization. The machines shall wholly accomplish a Multi-National Company or an angel company as tasks that are presently being done manually in the future.
