As a premier institute of technology and design, JIET brings unique capabilities to research through a transdisciplinary approach. Our academic expertise, strong links to research partners and consideration of technological and social dimensions enables us to find solutions to critical problems impacting communities and the environment.
The Cell also encourages teachers to take up minor and major research projects.
JIET has been emphasizing on Research and Development (R&D) in various areas of engineering through R&D projects funded by the college or external agencies like DST, AICTE, etc. Organizing International and national conferences, seminars and workshops funded by the college or external agencies like DST, AICTE, etc.
JIET Centre for Research
Established in 2016, the JIET Centre for Research aims to foster a culture of research in the institution. Its foundation lies on the firm belief that fundamental responsibility of any organization is to stay connected with the community by the way of understanding its major issues and problems and suggest means to resolve them. Realizing the significance of quality research, JIET gives prime importance to promote, enhance and facilitate high impact research and related scholarly activities. The core areas of action is to raise an intellectual culture, to encourage scholarship and upgrade the quality of research for making meaningful contributions to dialogue around development of policies
that impact the society.
JIET conducts research programmes in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer science Engineering. The only Research centre of Rajasthan Technical University in Western Rajasthan.
1. Development of institutional research agenda and formulation of policy to reflect a conscious effort for creating a congenial climate to nurture a research culture for the University at JIET.
2. Setting up a systematic procedure for administration of research programmes.
3. Research capacity building and mentoring to translate our efforts into high quality research outcome.
